Shared AI memory & project context

Let the next conversation remember the project.

Keep persistent project context across AI conversations. Brainlet stores useful documents, decisions and reusable instructions for your team and compatible AI assistants.

Use shared AI context to reduce repeated briefing when switching assistants or teammates. Personal preferences stay distinct from knowledge deliberately shared with the workspace.

Illustrative project history

Earlier / saved decision

“Lead with the customer problem.”

The team records the reasoning with its launch brief.

Next conversation / retrieved context

“Use the launch brief to outline the pitch.”

The assistant reads the saved material before drafting.

Next teammate / a useful starting point

The story stays consistent.

Shared context carries forward, even when the person or assistant changes.

Brainlet does not automatically capture every conversation. Ask your assistant to save important context and check it was stored.

Why it matters

ChatGPT's memory stays in ChatGPT. Yours shouldn't.

ChatGPT memory, Claude projects and Cursor rules each remember things, but only inside their own app and only for one person. Switch assistants, start a new chat or hand the work to a colleague, and you start briefing all over again.

Brainlet is a memory layer that sits outside any single assistant. It connects through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard that ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and Cursor all support, so each of them reads from and writes to the same memory. Save a fact from Claude, recall it from ChatGPT. Save a decision today, find it in next month's planning session.

Because the memory belongs to a workspace, not a chat, it can be shared. A team workspace gives everyone's assistant the same persistent context: the brief, the brand voice, the customer's name, the reason behind last week's decision.

What it remembers

Long-term memory for AI, organised the way teams work.

01

Facts & preferences

Short, durable facts: house style, audience, preferred tools, recurring names.

02

Documents

Briefs, research, drafts and reference files, searchable by meaning and by keyword.

03

Decisions

What was decided and why, so the reasoning survives the meeting.

04

Procedures

Step-by-step skills your assistant can follow and your team can reuse.

Works with

  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Claude Code
  • Codex
  • Cursor
  • any MCP-compatible assistant

Personal and shared

Your memory, your team's memory, kept apart.

01

Personal workspace

Your own preferences and notes, visible only to you, across every assistant you connect.

02

Team workspace

Knowledge you choose to share: project context, brand, decisions and skills, available to every teammate's assistant.

03

Switch in a sentence

Ask your assistant to switch workspace, and it works from that workspace's memory until you switch back.

Getting started

Give your assistants a shared memory.

  1. 01

    Create a free workspace

Your personal workspace is ready straight away.

  2. 02

    Connect each assistant

Add Brainlet to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or Cursor. They all share the same memory.

  3. 03

    Say “remember this”

Your assistant saves the fact, decision or document to Brainlet.

  4. 04

    Recall it anywhere

Ask a different assistant, or a teammate's, and it finds what was saved.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can ChatGPT and Claude share memory?

Yes, through Brainlet. Connect both assistants to the same Brainlet workspace and they read from and write to the same memory, files and skills over the Model Context Protocol.

What is an MCP memory server?

An MCP memory server is a service that stores memory for AI assistants and exposes it through the Model Context Protocol, the open standard for connecting assistants to tools and data. Brainlet is a hosted MCP memory server with team sharing, search and file storage built in.

Does Brainlet save every conversation?

No. Only what you or your assistant deliberately save is stored. Nothing is captured in the background.

How does the assistant find the right memory?

It searches the workspace by keyword and by meaning at the start of a task, and results show where each memory or file came from.

Can I review or delete what's remembered?

Yes. You can review, add and delete memories and files from the Brainlet dashboard at any time.

Is shared memory private to my team?

Yes. A team workspace is visible only to its members, and your personal workspace only to you.
