AI skills & workflow templates

A small library of better ways to work.

Explore AI agent skills and workflow templates for research, creative work, presentation outlines, social content and project handoffs. Start with a prompt, then make the process your own.

A prompt starts a conversation. A skill records the inputs, steps, tools and expected result so your team can repeat an AI workflow consistently.

Prompt vs. skill

A prompt is a request. A skill is a way of working.

A prompt library gives you a good first message. An AI agent skill goes further: it records what to bring, which tools to use, the steps to follow and what a good result looks like. Any assistant can run it, and it comes out the same way whoever runs it.

In Brainlet, skills live in your workspace next to your files and memory. Each one lists the tools it needs, such as web search, image generation or a connected Google Drive, so a teammate can see at a glance whether they're ready to run it. Skills are versioned, so improving one improves it for the whole team.

The guides below are public starting points. Copy a prompt, run it with your own project, and save the version that works as your team's skill.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is an AI agent skill?

An AI agent skill is a reusable set of instructions an assistant follows to complete a task. It covers the inputs needed, the tools to use, the steps and the expected result, so the task can be repeated consistently by anyone on the team.

What's the difference between a prompt template and a skill?

A prompt template is a single message. A skill also records the tools, steps, review criteria and context the task needs, and it lives in a shared workspace where the whole team can run and improve it.

Do Brainlet skills work in ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes. Skills are stored in Brainlet and available to any connected MCP-compatible assistant, including ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.

Are my team's skills public?

No. Skills you save are private to your workspace. Only the example guides on this site are public.

What does 'ready to run' mean?

Each skill lists the tools it needs, such as web search or a connected Google Docs account. Brainlet shows each teammate whether they have those tools set up before they run it.
